Description of Starscape
As the last remaining pilot of a ruined space research station, you must help rebuild the station's defenses, acquire alien technology and create your own uniquely configured set of fighters. By mining the asteroids within the grid dimension, valuable resources can be harvested for fuel and weaponry. Uncover the terrible purpose of the evil Archnid race and learn why you and the rest of the crew were brought here. Mine, research, build, destroy and survive...it's all up to you in Starscape!

- "Basically, Starscape is a hybrid game blending quite a few genres. It's mostly action, however. Collecting materials to upgrade your ship (lots of fun space-mining), shooting down enemy ships, protecting your base, etc..
There is also a big map of the galaxy which you jump around on. (And through wormholes into another dimension, etc.) You have to avoid certain enemy patrols and work your way towards facing the ultimate threat.
The game places you in control of a science research vessel. You can upgrade the large gun on your main ship which can fight off attacks, but also can have up to four other ships that you control directly during battle/mining/etc. It's a lot of fun.
There is a great deal of customization, a great story, lots of development of new weapons and technologies, and a ton of replay value. Give this game a try, for sure!" - cirruspaxton
