    Tips

Check out our tips and tricks for Little Shop - Road Trip.

      GENERAL TIPS FOR BLITZ MODE

    • In Blitz mode you will be able to search every single object that is in a particular scene. In Blitz Mode the objects will be at the bottom of the page, just like they are in the Regular Mode. As you find each object new ones will pop up until you've every item hidden in that room.
    • You can look on top of the page and you'll be able to see how many items can be found in that scene.
    • In order to get the highest score in Blitz Mode, it can sometimes help to replay the scene several times while the items are fresh in your mind.

      GENERAL TIPS FOR REGULAR MODE

    • You have to look for objects in a scene; you will be given a list of 15 items to look for. Each item that you have to look for will appear at the bottom of the scene, 5 at a time.
    • Once you find one item, another one will appear in its place until all 15 are visible.
    • Find 10 out of the 15 items to pass a level. Find all 15 items and you'll get a gold star rating.
    • If for some reason you did not find all 15 items at the end of the round, you will be given a choice to continue to the next level or replay so you can obtain the gold star.
    • Each location contains 3 squirrels, 1 license plate, 4 or 5 question marks and 2 thermometers.
    • From the main map you can go to previous trips at any time by clicking on the green arrow button in the lower left or right corner.
    • From the map you can see how many locations you will visit in that round, your trophies and the amount of special items to find in each location.
    • Even though the scenes repeat often some of the objects are moved around. Don't expect to find an item where you found it previously.
    • If you click on too many incorrect items in a row your cursor will be disabled for a few seconds.
    • In order to see how many magnets, question marks, thermometers and squirrels are left to be found, you can look at the main map.
    • If you look on top of the page, it will show you how many of each of those items are left to be found in a particular scene. It will only tell you the information for the scene that you're about to play.

      HINTS

    • Little Shop Road Trip has some very clever ways of showing you hints in the game.
    • In addition to the ones the hints that were available in previous versions of this game you will find the magnet hint added to that list.
    • Here is a brief description of all the ways you can obtain a hint in the game.

      Magnet

    • There's only 1 magnet hidden in every scene, since the magnets are limited, only use them when you need it the most.
    • The magnet is really cool because once you find it you'll be able locate several items in the scene within a specified amount of time. The faster you are at locating the items, the more items you'll be able to find.
    • Once you pick up the magnet you have to use it right away, there's no way to put it back or a place to keep it for later.
    • When you grab the magnet, it will turn and point towards the item that is closest. Follow the course of the magnet to locate the closest item to it.
    • You'll see some sparks come out of the magnet when it's right on target.

      Thermometer

    • Thermometers help you locate items and can be hidden anywhere within a scene.
    • Once you find the thermometer in a scene, you have to use right away since there's no place to put.
    • Do not click on the thermometer unless you're ready to use it. If you don't use it in one round, it will be available next time you come back to that scene.
    • When you pick up the thermometer you will notice that all the speech bubbles of the customers will either have icicles on it or flames.
    • When you see the flames it means that you're very close to the item in that particular speech bubble. The higher the flames, the closer you are.
    • When you see the ice on the speech bubble it means that you're far away from locating that particular item, move your cursor around until you see the flames. Once the flames are very big it means that you've found the items, click on it to pick it up.
    • You will get an award when you locate all 5 items while the thermometer is activated.
    • I used a technique that worked well for me when using the thermometer. I would never look up at the scene. I was able to click on things just by looking at the speech bubbles.
    • Move your cursor around the scene but keep your eye on the speech bubble at all times. When you see too many icicles on an item, move your cursor around until you see the flames. Once the flames engulf the speech bubble you can click on it to remove the item from the list.

      Hint Button

    • The hint button is located on the top right side of the scene. The number next to the hint button represents how many hints you have available.
    • The hints will rollover with you to the next round, so it is best not to use them if you don't need them.

      Question marks

    • There are several question marks that are hidden within each scene. The question marks add to the amount of hints that you receive in a level.
    • Use the hints to find objects in the scene. The way the hints work is by showing you a picture of the item that you need to find at the bottom of the screen.
    • The pictures will only be visible for a short amount of time, once the time is up the name of the item you are looking for will reappear.
    • Some question marks are displayed in plain sight, others are very well hidden and can be hard to find.
    • There's a way to tell if there are question marks to be found in a particular location.
    • Look at the question mark that is on the top right side, if the question mark is white then it means that there are still question marks left to be found. If it's dark, then there will not be any more question marks left to find.

      LICENSE PLATES AND SQUIRRELS

    • There are squirrels and license plates that can be found in each location. Find all of them and receive a trophy.
    • Each time you find a squirrel, you will see a lot of nuts explode in the area in which the squirrel was found.
    • When you find the license plate, the area in which the license plate was found will start to glitter.
    • License plates can be partially hidden in the scene, so they can be hard to find at times, look everywhere and if you see something that looks like a license plate click on it even if you're not sure.
    • You can look at the screenshots to see the location of all the license plates, squirrels in each scene.
    • Each location has three squirrels and one license plate to find.
